How to Find the Best Pickleball Paddle (for your game style)
Like I said, my favorite and current paddle is the Selkirk Power Air – the ratings in the video were created by my friend Darsh, who was testing the paddles.
Join me as I help my friend, Darsh, a 4.5 player and a former D1 tennis player, find the perfect pickleball paddle for his unique style. The video guides you through the essential steps to properly test paddles, equipping you with the know-how to choose your own.
Remember, everyone’s game style is unique, and that’s why your paddle should be too! We cover different methods to test out paddles, whether that be borrowing from friends, demo-ing them in stores, or bringing demos to the courts. For those of you who may not have access to a good sports store, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered with creative solutions.
We’ll stress the importance of comparing multiple paddles at once. Testing paddles over different days makes it difficult to notice the subtle differences that could determine which one is the best fit for you.
We also break down key features of pickleball paddles you should consider: Power, Control, Forgivingness (Sweetspot size), Spin, and Weight. Understanding these features will provide you with the right insight when selecting your paddle.
Budget pls
Thank you!
Would love a budget paddle video as well

Very nice / good suggestions
I am a new player so I don’t want to invest in a very expensive paddle. Would like a comparison of budget friendly paddles also. Thanks. Luv the channel
Needs budget paddles
Thanks for your unbiased reviews. It seems the Selkerk paddles are very popular in the 2024 PPA.

Yes, a video on budget paddles and best values.
Gotta do budget paddles. 90% of people do not want to spend $150-250 on a paddle. $50 paddles FTW
Nice VID did you make
One with $50-$150 paddles? And for decent players Not beginners but decent
I’ve only been playing for 6 months but I’ve tried a ton of paddles already. I can quite confidently say that the Six Zero Double Diamond is one of the best, if not the best, all around paddle to buy. Good control and more then enough power for drives and put aways. I highly recommend it. Just bought my second one today.
Why aren’t there objective evaluations with mechanical specs like thickness, stiffness, friction ratio, bounce and spin characteristics of standard mechanical arm like it used to be done for tennis racquets . I am sure manufacturers have to measure them for quality control so racquets parameters do not vary between units
The Six Zero DBD is missing in your selection!
Really liked this video. Nice job.
Love may Perseus 16 paddle, but I’m wondering whether a 16 is the best paddle for singles. Might a 14 be better given that power is more of a factor in singles? Thanks
yeah do a budget no way i’m dropping 250 on a pickle ball paddle i play for fun 😂
HI thanks for this video, can you test out the Vulcan 5000 series paddle? Thanks

I just bought a Volair mach 1 and a mach 1 forza for my gf and I. I wonder how they compare to the Joola in this video… any feedback?
I beat the Selkirk 250$ paddle owners with my Amazon 30$ paddles , lol. These are a scam 😅
Yes please do budget paddles
The power air feels like a piece of dried out pressure treated plywood…I should know, I have one. Biggest pickleball paddle purchase regret to date.

As someone who played a lot of tennis in the past, I go through a paddle in about 6 weeks playing about 15-20hrs per week. Digging shots which scrapes the corners is my biggest culprit.
As a result, for a person like myself, COST is the practical highest factor in choosing a paddle…
IS IT "LEGAL" OR, ACCEPTABLE, TO COAT THE PADDLE SURFACES WITH ANYTHING, THAT MAY INCREASE IT’S "SPIN" TRACTION"??!!!… [i.e. "ROSIN", PITCH, LATEX, GRIT, OR, MESH/FABRIC?!]
They are my top 3, wondering if I should go with 14mm or 16 🤔
Like I said, my favorite and current paddle is the Selkirk Power Air – the ratings in the video were created by my friend Darsh, who was testing the paddles. Thanks for watching!!
Please add the Vatic pro flash to your budget paddle battle. Thx
Are some more geared towards women with a smaller grip? I have little hands
Joola perseus has 14mm and 16mm. Which one is better??
My wife is buying a paddle. we tested them as the video described. However, we did not check for sweet spot and spin. We will check for those two characteristics on the next testing go around. We are down from 25 to about eight. The first criteria was weight with her preferring lighter ones, so that was easy to get down to eight
Which PowerAir model do you use? S2, Invikta or Epic?

i use my kitchen cutting board with the modified grip super glued on. smacks. im a pro in the 98+ year old division by the way
Looking for recommendations for a paddle for a beginner but one that gives a good experience on first playing and not a paddle that could turn someone off to pickleball.
Would appreciate your top 3 and why.
I play with both CRBN 1X and Selkirk Invikta Power Air. I guess my next paddle is the Perseus! 😁
