  1. I bought one of the Helinox copys and it felt very weak so I returned it to the store. I will save some more and buy the original instead

  2. Looks too low. I think Big Agnes has a new chair that has a better seat height. They are all to expensive!

  3. I love nemo and they 100% back their products. I had the nemo stargazer chair for years and the seams one day ripped. Nemo replaced the entire chair by sending me the newer version! I have the original moonlite but am most likely going to pick this new one up too. Their products and it’d quality never disappoint!

  4. It baffles me how anyone could bless off on this chair that is an average sized male. It is clearly only going to be comfortable for children or small framed females. I tried it for 10 minutes before the pinching on my thighs and under my arm pits from the top and bottom became too unbearable. I’m sticking with my REI Air- lighter, cheaper, more comfortable.

  5. i abandoned my helinox a long time ago. I used it very heavily while working as a farm hand. the joints didnt hold up a year. Ive been a really big fan of the REI chair. The slip over design has proved way more durable than helinox ball joints but i might give the nemo a try once my REI needs to be replaced.

  6. If you are anything but skinny the Nemo chair is soooooo uncomfortable. Those rope adjusters dig into your thighs so bad.

  7. I would love to see the comparison to the Naturehike Camping Chair, which weighs about the same (1,02 K
kg), but costs less then a third (about 50 $)…

  8. It’s made in the Philippines. True a manufacturer can find some 10-year-old child to make this in the Philippines or China for $12 and have it shipped for $20 just so they can turn a huge profit but I’m pretty sure 90% of us don’t take part in that kind of purchases. REI has higher standards.

  9. It’s a good chair – sat in one recently but I do still think it’s slightly overpriced. $120, maybe $150 but I think this close to $200 is pushing it when there’s other serviceable (and more lightweight) options for much less.

  10. My wife loves her OG Moonlight. I LOVE NEMO products, but I’ve continued to prefer my odd duckling Big Agnes Skyline UL chair. For me, the 15” seat height makes a HUGE difference after multiple miles/hours sitting in my sit-inside kayak, for multi-day, overnight trips.

  11. The NatureHike chair is 1 pound more. However it’s much stronger, comes with large feet for soft ground services (no extra fee like some manufactures), better carry bag, much more comfortable and is only $48.00! NatureHike is the only folding chair manufacturer that doesn’t rip you off with high prices, especially outdoor retailers like REI…..! I wonder why Dan doesn’t use the NatureHike chair for an equal comparison….hum?

  12. 07:10 at first I was mindblown and though what a great idea. Than I second guessed cause than your packsack is your mudshield… wich means I have a muddy packsack? hmmm. nah thanks

  13. Just got the high-back helinox and absolutely love it. The fact that I can lounge and rest my head did it for me. Like the recline feature of the Nemo but think I would desire that head support in recline mode?

  14. Went out and got the REI flex lite air for $70. found both the Nemo and Helionox uncomfortable and way overpriced

  15. If you think of it as a lifetime chair, the cost is not out of line at all. Plus half the men I know are heavier than 225 lbs
