  1. I’m amused at how the video skips over removing the cover from the machine. It’s not nearly as easy as you’d infer from the video. The Silent Partner has a better design here, because it uses a pin to keep the cover attached.

  2. Building my own and would like to know how far apart the wheels are that launch the ball are on yours . I’ve heard 34cm is a good start to try

  3. I had the tennis tutor pro light for more than 15 years and I just bought the spinfire pro 2 and it is incredible so many options. The only thing I don’t understand is how to set it up random

  4. We purchased the Spinfire Pro to allow my wife (beginner) and I (more advanced player) to play and practice together without my wife feeling guilty that I am having to hit "easy" to her. Best therapist ever! My wife has gone from a non-sporting gal to enjoying tennis and watching tennis now that she has an appreciation for the game. Great machine and has been dead reliable for the first year of usage (about 4 hrs per week). Love the quality of ball delivery and the ability to adjust to pretty much any speed, shape, spin, etc. Also enjoy the 150 ball capacity. Although expensive would recommend getting the "ball machine" balls as they are holding up well after a year with excellent consistency and durability. My club has a machine with standard used balls and there is no consistency with this setup. The "Set Point" balls have turned out to be worth the expense. We have the external lead acid battery which has tremendous charge capacity . The battery has been lasting 6-8 hrs between charging. The battery saving "sleep" feature is excellent when picking up balls. Only complaint so far is the lead acid battery is heavy and will upgrade to lithium whenever this battery fails and the "pocket" for the remote is NOT secure. This is the only thing I would redesign. The remote will bounce out if you hit a small bump or even a 1" curb going over a gutter. Have "lost" the remote countless times only to find it back tracking my steps from car to court. I no longer use the remote slot on the back of the machine but keep it in the zippered pouch in the battery case. Thinking about velcro on the back of the machine to make it more convenient but do not rely on the plastic pocket on the back of the machine. The only other minor problem is static electricity and fuzz sticking to the machine subsequently polluting our car upholstery. I now carry a 4" paint brush in my ball container to " de-fuzz" the machine after usage prior to loading back into the car. Not sure if this can be improved with a bigger/better chain that grounds the machine. Overall, love this machine and would purchase again.
