Ok so I did my first season of track and field last year i my freshman year I didn’t know what events I was going to do so I got middle distance spikes because they are somewhat versatile and I ended up doing several events including high jump, 400m, and 4×4 and a few others but this coming season I want to do high jump my PR was 5ft, 400m my PR was 1:01, and 4×4 so my question is what spikes do you think I should get to help me improve my times and high jump marks

Also I have a question, I just bought some shoes for sprinting (I do them for fun and efficiency, I lift weights 3x a week, looking forward to sprint 2-3x a week) the shoes I bought it says it’s for jump. Do you think it was a good buy?
